A Different
Route to Design.
Craig Gritzen is a Los Angeles–based interior designer, creative director, writer and photographer exploring how design, atmosphere and place shape the way we live.
Through Curated Style Collective, he creates interiors with a distinct point of view, a strong sense of atmosphere and an understanding that a home should support the life happening inside it.
Craig did not come to interior design through a traditional creative path. Before founding Curated Style Collective, he spent more than a decade working in science, biotechnology and complex project leadership.
Eventually, that same way of thinking found its way into design. The materials changed. The questions did not.
How does this work? Where is the friction? What is missing? How does the environment affect the person inside it?
Today, Craig combines intuition, observation, systems thinking, research and creative direction to approach interiors as more than decoration.
The Home Is
Not the Product.
A home is infrastructure for living. It influences how we wake up, recover, work, entertain, connect, create, rest and move through ordinary days.
Craig believes good design should make those experiences easier, richer and more expressive—not simply create a room that photographs well.
The goal is not perfection. It is atmosphere.
A room should feel considered without feeling precious. Personal without feeling themed. Beautiful without feeling like nobody actually lives there.
