Residential Interiors
Los Angeles + Selected Work

Selected. Works.

Interiors are not still lifes. They are lived in.
A portfolio of rooms, materials, furnishings, and small moments considered as part of a larger whole: how a home looks, moves, feels, and becomes personal over time.
Warm residential living room with original woodwork, green lounge chair, arched mirror and layered textiles.

01 — Feature

Warmth Without
Nostalgia.

Original woodwork, contemporary forms, soft color, plants, art, and patina are allowed to share the room without turning the interior into a period piece.
Living room with cognac leather sofa, fiddle-leaf fig, rust pillows and original wood trim.
Living Room / Furnishings 01.01
The architecture already had a voice. The design did not need to compete with it.
The room is built through relationships: warm wood against green upholstery, leather against woven texture, old details beside cleaner contemporary forms. The result is layered rather than themed.
Sunlit corner with original wood trim, art, plants and a vintage metal and leather chair.
Corner Study / Light + Patina 01.02
Original Craftsman fireplace with green tile surround, carved dark wood mantel and layered objects.
Fireplace / Original Detail 01.03
Point of View
A room is more than its hero shot.
Threshold. Light. Pause. Detail.
02 — West Temple

Rooms in
Conversation.

A residential project where color, art, vintage references, and architectural sightlines connect one room to the next.
Bedroom viewed through French doors with curved upholstered bed, layered textiles and natural light.
West Temple / Bedroom 02.01
Living room with rust sectional, gallery wall, wood credenza and layered furnishings.
West Temple / Living 02.02
Sightlines matter because a home is experienced in sequence.
Doorways, thresholds, adjacent colors, and the glimpse of one room from another are treated as part of the composition. The design continues beyond the edge of a photograph.
View through a doorway into a living room with plants, layered seating and wood floors.
West Temple / Threshold 02.03
Moody bar wall with dark geometric tile, wood shelves and sculptural black sconce.
Bar / Material Study 02.04
Kitchen with dark cabinetry, brass faucet and pale herringbone backsplash.
Kitchen / Contrast 02.05

03 — Detail

The Detail Is
the Room.

Atmosphere is often carried by what is easy to overlook: the object on a table, the book beside it, smoke in the light, and the texture that makes a surface worth touching.
Wood chess set beside books on Case Study Houses and Ray Eames with stone sphere.
Object Study / Books + Chess 03.01
Copal incense burning on a ceramic tray over a slatted wood surface.
Ritual / Scent + Material 03.02
Ceramic planters and design books displayed against original warm wood trim.
Still Life / Plants + Books 03.03
The finishing layer is not decoration after the design. It is part of the design.
Art, books, scent, vessels, plants, and objects create scale, memory, and evidence of a person. They are where a finished room begins to feel inhabited rather than installed.
